Waterford Township EMS is proud to
sponsor the New Jersey Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician –
Basic Course. The course is
open to anyone interested in obtaining the necessary skills to provide
emergency medical care as a health care provider. With proper training the student
will be able to obtain their EMT- B Certification needed for both
volunteer and career positions available throughout the state of
The course is presented through
lectures, practical skills, scenarios, and 10 hours hospital clinical
experience. Total course time
consists of 120 hours with classes being offered on Monday and Wednesday

Prerequisites: All students must be at least sixteen years of age to enroll and obtain their CPR Provider card at the start of class. Any student who needs CPR class may contact the course coordinator for information.
